A Native American flute from High Spirits Flutes ideal for beginners because it has a sweet voice, an affordable price and its average size makes it easier for people with smaller hands to play.
This model is crafted from Spanish cedar, a soft wood with warm, resonant and full voice, and is sealed with non-toxic oils that give it a beautiful and durable finish. Spanish cedar has natural dark lines in the wood grain that are often confused with cracks, which may seem like a line of control is actually a natural line of grain in the wood.
It's a 6-hole flute, but we covered the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a removable leather tie to give you the option to play like a 5-hole flute (easier for beginners).
Due to its range of notes, this flute can also play a relatively larger diatonic scale on the "C" key.
This is a good accompanying flute for any flute in the key to "A".
This flute is 17 inches (44 cm) long.
